EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST APPLICATION FORMSWelcome to the Artists online expression of interest for Prana New Year Festival 2011. For those of you who are unfamiliar with our event please take the time to browse our website which is packed with interesting background information about this event. INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL & NATIONAL ARTISTSThe festival is produced by Prana Limited, an incorporated association that depends largely on the efforts of a minimal staff and many wonderful volunteers. As such, we cannot cover the costs associated with bringing an international touring act to New Zealand specifically for the festival. We recommend that Artists / Presenters wanting to perform at Prana, propose our festival as one date of a self organised and funded tour. We recommend that you seek an agent to represent you to achieve this outcome. Use Google search to find a list of agents. The assistance of an experienced agent can be extremely helpful when completing the complicated and timely application process required by the New Zealand Government. Prana operates without sponsors hence offers moderate fees. We do provide limited hospitality in the form of a large marquee for performers only on the night of their performance. All performers are expected to cover the costs of getting to the festival, food, drink and accommodation, beyond their performance night, whilst at the event.
