The large 100-acre natural site of land, bush and coastal positioning in Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, is magnificent; with rock faces covered in glorious ancient Pohutukawa trees, stands of native New Zealand bush, park like settings, walking tracks through the bush and to the pristine, white sand Opoutere Beach with 165.25 million sq.km of Pacific Fresh Air System in front of it.

This haven encompasses camping, low, medium and high-budget eco-lodge accommodation, plus large spaces for: special events, retreats, weddings, workshops and music festivals. Spring at Prana is August and September, a pre-summer season spans October and November. Summer lasts four months December to March, there is a short autumn in April and May, and a brief winter in June and July.

New Years FestivalPrana Global Village: Located in Coromandel Peninsula, with beautiful rock & Pohutukawa tree landforms, pristine beach, mature trees and grassy areas for camping, Prana festivals are unusual in that they are none commercial and none-sponsored events, so ticket sales are their only source of income, and each year the entertainment, workshop needs, stallholder requirements, festival comfort levels and much more are funded from this one source. This is part of the special ambience, and we at Prana would like to share more of this unique opportunity in NZ to host friendly and soul nourishing gatherings.

Prana Festival organizers are striving to produce a Festival that is sustainable and strongly reflects that magical, mystical place 'where creativity meets awareness'.

Mystical/Sacred Attributes: The very land you walk on here has a particular energy, sensed by everyone who comes here. A journey to Prana Eco Retreat is worth taking as a place to come to expand your consciousness, revitalize your health, simplify your life or just simply allow nature’s green healing to happen!

There is recognition of the interrelatedness of everything, and the impact everything we do have on our lives and our community, local and global.
